Blaze sniffed the ground around here. She was a mexican wolf, one of the many endangered species of wolf. She prefered the mountain, because it's cool air was easier on her long fur. She sat for a moment, bored, then let out a long, almost sorrowful cry.

<Sitting atop the summit of Owl Stone, the jet black lupe scanned the mountain area for any action. His eyes set upon the silouette of another wolf. He sniffed the air, but because the wind was heading down the mountain, he could not smell the other. Hearing the howl though, he replied the call with a wuffing noise.>

::From where she was sitting, Blaze stopped howling, then looked at the other wolf, barking a response. She braced herself, in case the wolf was aggessive. Looking up, she twisted her ears around to face him.::

<Khumbu, upon hearkening her call, proceeded down the mountain side towards the other, now recognized as a fae. As he approached, he involintarily swiveled his auds back and forth keeping his eyes fixed on her face, but not her eyes. He began to sniff her over, circleing slowly but cautiously. When he had finnished, he stepped back to allow her to do the same if she felt the need.
Swishing his flag lightly behind him, he made a mental note of her size, colouration, and overall appearance. Though he was part of a pack, he carried himself at this time either as an Omega or a loner, whichever she chose to interpret.>

::Blaze sat there, her furry ears pointing towards the sky in curiousity. Then she got up, repeating what the other wolf had done. Once she had finished giving him a good sniffing, she returned to where she had sat before, her tail wagging slightly.::
"Hello. My name is Blaze," she said. "Are you a loner?"

"Greetings to you Blaze, I go by the name of Khumbu. And in regards to your later question, no. I belong to a pack."
<He raised a quizical eyebrow at her and flicked his ears forwards in friendliness. He swished his plume behind him idley.>

"Ah. I see." she too raised her eyebrow. "I am a loner; of no pack. And what pack do you belong to, may I ask?"
::Blaze looked at the mountain briefly, before looking back at Khumbu again.::

"The Alpha is called Tysom. It's a newly formed pack but with a decent amount of members."
<He watched her movements carefully. They did not seem of nervousness so he kept the way he was, posture neutral.>
"Many a time I have summited this mountain."
<He replied reflecting on his past and memories. He enjoyed coming up here where there were little or no distractions to simply think things over.>

"I see. Where I came from, there were no mountains, and it was always snow." Looking up, she marvled over them.::
"Sorta amasing; how the terra can just rise up like that." Blaze's gaze seemed fixated on the mountains for a long time, before she leaned on her paw to look back at the other wolf.::
"Tyson's pack, you say? Is this their territory?"

"Actually, it's Tysom, but no. I've been wandering yet again, but it's what the whole pack does. Even Tysom who's supposed to be Alpha..."
<He found this a slightly odd thing for a pack but then, it was an odd pack. He glanced at Blaze and noticed her slightly drifting off into her own little world. Khumbu, being surprised that she wasn't so suspitious and of how bold she was, looked at the mountain. It was a beautiful sight, though living here so long you took it for granted sometimes.>

::Blaze patted her tail on the ground, still gazing at the mountain. She made herself pull her eyes off it, then looked back at Khumbu.::
"Tysom. Sorry. I believe I've always been a loner; but, I don't remember," she admitted. "If I did, it was too far back for me to remember it."

"Do you come up here often?"
<He asked wondering why he had never seen her. Not many wolves ever ventured atop the mountains these days, but then it was winter. The ice made the journey slippery and dangerous. Not many wolves wanted to risk it.>
